“ Amazing food, service, atmosphere and staff. Thos is a hidden gem, top quality. If you are staying in the Heron Lake Retreat, this is a five minute walk away. It is joined to the Craft Shop which has jewellery, cards, gifts, antiques etc, really beautiful little find. My Mum had the beef and ale pie and asked the chef to come out to tell him it was the best pie she had ever tasted. ”

“ Lovely traditional little restaurant serving roasts, light bites burgers and sandwiches. Food is all freshly cooked and locally sourced. It's quite a small compact dining room but they were very accommodating with people with mobility problems. Had a burger which was nicely seasoned with a decent amount of salad and a generous serving of delicious chips roast dinner also very good. There's all sorts of delicious looking puddings and cakes. We didn't book and got a table but many people had booked to ensure a table. ”

“ Excellent food at Edenshine, have ate here a few times now and cannot fault it. The staff are lovely, excellent choice of food all home cooked. Had the quiche which was delicious. It came with side salad and choice of potatoes. Great value for money. You need to book ahead as it’s always busy. Shame we never have space for one of the delicious looking cakes or desserts they have on offer. Great to have a wander around the shops and antiques after eating. ”
